The most relevant stuff is that:
WHEN SHARING FOOD THROUGH EATUPS:
Giving food away through eatups can be very rewarding, but it also means a big responsibility: The food you give to others must be kept and prepared in excellent hygienic conditions, and YOU MUST GUARANTEE THAT IT IS SAFE TO EAT/DRINK.
Make sure you include ALL the ingredients in the description or in further communication with the person taking your food, as you will be responsible for allergic or other body reactions to certain ingredients in your food.
When your food is clean and safe you will gain positive rates or reviews, but better than that, you will keep us all alive and happy ;)
If you wish to get money from your gives, you must comply with your local law and regulations about food giving and selling, specially if you deal with alcoholic drinks or other strictly regulated stuff.
EATUP USERS ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS SHARED, PHYSICALLY OR DIGITALLY, THROUGH EATUPS.ORG OR THROUGH THE APP.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO PEOPLE'S HEALTH OR WELL-BEING OF ANY KIND.
IT'S ALL PEACE & LOVE IN HERE:
Eatups app and website are meant to be used in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Text and images shared through this service can be crazy, odd, and fun, but NEVER rude or disrespectful, so we can all feel cool using eatups openly.
Basic manners are highly appreciated, and we can assure you that they will make your eatups experience a lot better.
Hope no need to say, but we’ll say it: Any inappropriate behavior will cause immediate ban from this great service.
Openness and privacy
Posting something makes you a “giver”, and taking something that somebody posted makes you a “taker”, so that’s how we’ll talk about you in these two cases from now on.
When you as a “giver” post some food, you will need to add contact details, in current case only your e-mail address. Inputting a valid e-mail address is very important, as you may need to be contacted by potential “takers” and to be able to remove a post after it has been taken. Your e-mail will never be shared openly by eatups. If a “taker” contacts you to arrange a deal, the message will be sent directly to this e-mail address, you can then respond to the taker and only then your e-mail address will be shared to the “taker”, as with any e-mail communication.
You willl be asked to write your e-mail address also when sending a “taking” message to arrange a deal with a “giver”. As well, it is important that you use a valid e-mail address. When you send a message to a “giver” to arrange a deal, you are sending a direct e-mail to the “giver”, meaning that the “giver” will get an e-mail with your own e-mail address in the sender’s field. The “giver” can then reply to your message and you can have a private e-mail communication.
Eatups may store your e-mail address to improve your user-experience, so that you don’t have to write it again and again. Besides the use described here, eatups will not use or share your e-mail or any other user data in anyway.
Thanks for using eatups <3
